Last week’s blog was written by my co-founder Breck Costin. This week I turn my blog over to his 12-year-old Daughter Gigi to talk about what leadership means to her. We are all young and old, male and female (and everything in between!) part of the feminine revolution. I am dedicated to listening to everyone’s contribution.
Leadership is a person who acts as a leader towards other people, like someone who does something as an act of kindness and helpfulness that other people follow. A leader is a person that can stand up for something that is right and knows when they’re needed to be a leader. Leadership is something that is important. People want to become leaders because of people they look up to. When I think of a leader, I think of someone who I have looked up to and mostly those people are helping communities. Leadership is something that can make our world better. There are big and small acts of helpfulness and kindness, like putting more street signs in your neighborhood that can prevent accidents and help save people’s lives. I’ve experienced leadership in my life by helping to feed the homeless at my school. Being a leader is someone who inspires others to be leaders.
